Just got a new Abit KT7A-RAID Motherboard for my Duron 750. Installed everything correctly, double-checked, booted up and got 'BIOS ROM CHECKSUM ERROR, Insert floppy into Drive A to continue', something of that nature. I tried using Win98, WinME, DosDr7.0 and Win2k Setup Disks. It'll either say 'INVALID - NON-BOOTABLE DISKETTE, REPLACE WITH SYSTEM DISK' or just restart.
I have the bios flash files on a diskette, all I need to do is get to a damn DOS prompt! Someone, HELP!
Sys specs
Win2k Pro
FAT32 10 gig HD x 2
Geforce 2 GTS 32 MB DDR
Duron 750
Abit KT7A-RAID Motherboard
512 MB 133 DIMM RAM
God made pot. Man made beer. So, who are you going to trust?

hmm possibly put the flash disk in another comp and set it up to autorun...
when you do a bad flash, your bios always boot enough code to run the floppy...
although if you bought the motherboard in this condition, it should be replaced by the manufacturer...
oh and did you check the ide cables? lol when i was setting up my comp i put them in backwards and it drove me crazy trying to figure out what i messed up!
I thought you wrote some soppy letter saying you were leaving because we all sucked? Then someone suggested that you change your name and he/she wouldn't tell.
Well here is my beef with you. You want help but you also want to bitch when things aren't going your way.
Pisses me off when people take so much then cry when they can't have just a little more.
So yeah I hope your error stays with you a little while longer. Don't cry wolf and threaten to leave a site for attention.
You wanna sniff little piles of demon poop? You oughta know where the trail leads, right into the devils hiney!
