    Windy999 Main Header

    Mood: Sick Self-pity

    OK so I've been a bit quiet recently. This is for two reasons:

    1. I've had a bout of a terrible affliction called "dangerous man-flu" this life-threatening illness is known to the female of the species as "a bit of a cold". Either way it has laid me low for a few days (ill on a Bank Holiday! - is there no justice in this world?!) but I'm getting up-and-ambling again!

    2. Unfortunately, what isn't going away at the moment is my workload both proper work and the choir I chair (we have a concert next Saturday). I'm slowly getting on top of it but things should improve by this time next week (hoo-bloody-rah!)

    Why I like this artist

    I always like to see people do things that I can't do!

    lovessweetexile's art is definitely beyond my abilities for two reasons - firstly, they are full of lovely colours (and I'm rubbish at them!) and secondly, I'd not be able to leave art alone and end up ruining it - lovessweetexile manages this really well (not that I'm saying that her art looks unfinished) :)

    Alright, so in my house it's customary to read aloud any quote one of us finds that we deem funny, so that everyone else may join in the laugh. I will have you know that when my mother heard of "dangerous man-flu" she just about died laughing and considering that she has a bad heart, we almost had to take her to the ER. She claims it was quite worth the risk, however, and would like to thank you for the delightful comment which apparently made her day.

    I have a feeling, however, that my dad won't be as happy when he next comes down with "a bit of a cold". :D
