I like the choice of Kant...but the perfect one would have been Goethe and his book about this young emo guy called Werther (I don't know the title in english, d'oh) who kills himself in the end (thanks GOD, that book was umbearable!)
wonderful work as always! ^_^
yes YES, finally: they should post this one all over dA for those bloody emo-beasts. little addition to your research again=> the 'oh-no-emo' creature tends to pose him/herself as a member of the gothic society. i know this cuz i tended to fight openly with them over their behaviour in a forum and mistook them for the so-called 'Goth'. i had to spend a week in the infermery after the blistering counterattack of the Goths...
just thought u should know =]
Any why Kant? He wasn't a depressing philosopher- just rigid, uptight (but you gotta admit pretty determined and well-founded). You should put in Kierkegaard- now he was depressing (but also a damn good philosopher as well).
