dA Bestiary No 13 by Windy999 dA Bestiary No 13 by Windy999
Now I've come across a lot of these in the last year!

No matter how much help they get they never make any progress because they are so set in their ways - My motto, which has served me well throughout my life is "Have a go". If you never try anything new you will never imporove.

Thank you - I shall now put my soapbox away until the next time :D

The full Bestiary list can be seen / added to here - [link]

Every now and again, it pays to take a look in the mirror and laugh at yourself. The da Bestiary by *Windy999 is how we as an online society can do just that. dA Bestiary No 13 is one in a series of caricatures of ourselves. We'll be featuring one of them a day for the first sixteen in the series. ( Featured by dygel )

I remember seeing these back in '06. Having discovered your gallery again recently, I've been reintroduced to a whole universe of delicious flavors.

I salute you, sir.

Oh my -gods- I know so many people who fit this species. SO MANY. Including a couple who have access to Photoshop and the tutorials they need to help them LEARN. And they just won't. It's so much easier to whine. I can think of so many people who are that way. SO VERY MANY.

You misspelled the common name. You put "WantoWontThough" where every where else you put "WantToWontThough". You forgot the second t, for to, in the common name.

Good grief, do I know some of those guys. Some of my best friends who are praised highly for their artistic skills ranted about that in their journals one time, and even though I'm always seeking all variety of artistic methods, traditional and digital, I can definitely feel for them for their frustrations with these creatures... 'Tis why I work harder to just do the best I can do from my end and improvize.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Despite it being part of your collection automatically, I feel this is a great asset/addition to the DA Bestiary in realization of how shallow some of us can be sometimes in self-pity

Ha!

That's one of my aims with the Bestiary - I don't name names or take the mickey out of art initself - it's up to people to see themselves in it

Many thanks

Not sure if this hasn't already been said, but i believe a 't' is missing in the name at the start (it appears with the extra 't' in the description).

Loving these works alot. Really cool, getting scared how many i'm falling into...

Oh, I've been forgetting my Grammar Nazi corrections, haven't I? Oops. Well, in the last sentence of this one, remove the apostrophe from "its." Also, add a period at the end. ^^

Just a note....some one may have already mentioned this.....At the top of the description of the 'species' you spell it 'Wantowontthough'.....but later you spell it 'WantTowontthough'(2 Ts)....just wanted to let you know....

The drawing makes me giggle...

Just as good as the rest of the series, I want to point out you made a spelling error, in the text it says wantt owontthough, but the title says want owontthough. (I sound horrible :( trying to help)

good job

i dunno if anyones mentioned it, because there are hella comments here and i'm not about to read all of them, but you seem to have forgotten a t in the big name:

the wantowontthough.

p.s. congratulations on this series. dA pop culture at it's finest!

well...that's so unfortunate for the wantowonthoughs.

i know this one is similar to the wantowntoughs....they never improve no mattre how much years you give them. and others will only tell them the usual things like cool and nice. they never seem to reallize that they are not improving and they keep producing the same things. what do you call them?

But sticklerium aside, yesyes. The drawing is abnormally cute. It's also great to see someone poking fun at... the... ones with an infinite supply of gravitational potential! energy.

I have personally run into this type, and I think that it might just be laziness, or an inferiority complex, because I watch the people that have noted me for advice and direction, and yet they've done nothing to improve. Perhaps they don't have the motivation to implement my advice, or they think they'll fail, so they never even try. This can be a very annoying one because I don't like taking that much time and putting in that much effort, just to have my guidance fall on deaf ears that just pretended to be attentive and interested. What's the point in asking, if they don't plan on following through?

Fantastic series, btw - I've run into quite a few of your types in my travels through DA, and I think they're my natural enemies because I try very hard not to keep doing the same things, or behaving the same way all the time. I think you could create an addition called Variety that's the natural enemy of all of these, because there are some who strive to not be any of these, save the few "good" types, like the True Welcome.
